Colonel Adams advised the brigade that, following a bribe he submitted to a different division of the 13th Corps, he was able to obtain a satellite image from ''somewhere'' within the operational area. However, the image quality... left something to be desired.

1LT. Rase of 1st Komodo's {{abbr|TSIC|Tactical & strategic intelligence center}} ascertained that the image was likely taken in the general area of ''Creux Passer'' and presented an image detailing various potential enemy units directly south of it. This image is not available as it was deleted along with the relevant Discord channel during organization efforts near the beginning of the campaign.

====Eastern front====
LTC. Leyn ordered L1-1 establish a drop zone in grid 75-64 immediately to secure a safe deployment area. However, shortly after doing so, they observed movement on the horizon to their south/south-west, hinting at the possibility of their drop zone getting hot.

At the conclusion of the round, there was a scare when Fesalian Military pilots detected getting radar locked while en-route for the second ''Goodshoes'' drop, but no missiles were fired nor aircraft destroyed, and so the remainder of Ligeia company successfully deployed.

MAJ. Barentsz ordered N1-4 to setup their signals equipment in order to begin intercepting enemy communications. Almost immediately, 2 messages were intercepted, though only partially.

The transmission originated from a convoy that was leaving ''Elever Racines'' and heading towards ''Creux Passer''.

==== Western front ====
MAJ. Rhyla ordered K1-4 to move north towards grid 59-64 while simultaneously firing a spotter pod at 62-66 to see if there was any enemy presence immediately across the bridge of the ''Montagne Couler'' stream. As they moved north they immediately caught sight of an enemy radar tower. They also caught sight of a [[wikipedia:Dragon's teeth (fortification)|dragons teeth line]] across the bridge, functionally blocking all armored movement south-east.

At the conclusion of the round, a vast majority of the remaining elements in play for the operation successfully deployed without issue, with the exclusion of Adams' command vehicle alongside various units in Sunburst, 1st Komodo, Bogatyr, and Zembla, all of which were scheduled to drop in subsequent rounds.

Sunburst's [[H1-1]] (Super-Heavy Howitzer) fired a starlight shell into grid 64-68 in order to further visibility across the bridge of ''Montagne Couler.'' No enemy units were spotted.

Background

Following the events of operation Wide Eyes, in which the 7th Planetary Brigade Combat Team successfully prevented Lt. General Fyke from attaining control of Citta Del Tesoro and the adjacent airfield, General Ardel ordered his forces to engage Fyke on the northern, western, and eastern fronts simultaneously. The eastern front was entrusted to the 7th Planetary Brigade Combat Team, who was given an offer of "double-or-nothing" pay to assist further, which Colonel Adams accepted.

The brigade then prepared to deploy east towards the cities of Creux Passer and Elever Racines. According to Ardel, the "main force" of Fyke is located within the region.

Upon arrival, it became clear that the men in the operational area were wearing the military uniforms of the Fesalian Military. It was explained by Ardel that it was likely the men in the area had deserted due to Fyke's influence.

Objectives

For this operation, the 7th Planetary Brigade Combat Team was instructed to:

  • Secure and hold Creux Passer while keeping it's infrastructure intact.
  • Secure and hold Elever Racines.
  • Take action to ensure the Elever Lac dam was not intentionally destroyed by the opposing force.

Deployment

Deployment into the operational area took place over the course of 3 rounds (0-2) at drop zones codenamed Western, Goodshoes, and Mriya, though no company opted to deploy forces at the latter location.

The veteran companies 1st Komodo, 1st Victoris Pioneers, Easy Company, Ligeia, and Sunburst joined the operation. They were joined by newly operational companies Bogatyr, Orion, The Night's Radiance, and Zembla.

Operation chronology

An operational chronology is not available for this campaign due to the wiki being created well into the campaign's life-cycle, resulting in a backlog of orders that the primary writer could not keep up with.
