Colonel Adams advised the brigade that, following a bribe he submitted to a different division of the 13th Corps, he was able to obtain a satellite image from ''somewhere'' within the operational area. However, the image quality... left something to be desired.

At the conclusion of the round, Colonel Adams reports that there was a complication with the next ''Goodshoes'' drop. Apparently, one of the pilots got radar locked, though no missiles were fired and no aircraft destroyed. As a result, Ligeia had all troops successfully deployed in ''Goodshoes''. On the western front, functionally all elements deployed without issue with the exclusion of Adams' command vehicle and [[H1-3]], which were set to deploy at the conclusion of round 2.
LTC. Leyn had L1-1 establish a drop zone in grid 75-64 immediately to secure a safe deployment area. However, shortly after doing so, they observed movement on the horizon to their south/south-west, hinting at the possibility of their drop zone going hot. Following that, MAJ. Rhyla had K1-4 move north towards grid 59-64 while simultaneously firing a spotter pod at 62-66 to see if there was any enemy presence immediately across the bridge of the ''Montagne Couler'' stream. As they moved north they immediately caught sight of an enemy radar tower. They also caught sight of a dragons teeth line blocking armored movement south-east across the bridge in grid 59-66.
