Wide Eyes (14 June 2024 — 20 August 2024) was the 1st game in the Domiere Campaign storyline and the 1st game of the Endurance Coalition MetaWar system. It concluded after 22 rounds of play.
Briefing
Situation
Unfortunately I haven't been left with much information but here's what we do know; 2+ days ago the garrison at the Tesoro Airbase took contact and soon after was completely cut from radio communications. After this incident we received the previous warning order to prep for an immediate deployment to Citta Del Tesoro. Immediately following this information on my desk I expedited deployment of Kilo and partially Charlie company for reconnaissance. As of this time neither unit has come into contact with the enemy; however they still report audible gunfire from the north towards Tesoro. At this time there hasn't been a single declaration of war in the news and none of our contacts in the military can give me so much as a hint to what is going on.
Campaign Objectives
Our goals for this deployment will be to secure the Tesoro Airbase and report up what has transpired there. I'll also be offering bonus pay for securing both the Tesoro Bridge and Battante Bridge intact; we need a secure supply route. More, smaller, objectives to follow as the days go by. A supply corridor must remain open for efficient operations; Maj. Blakely of Kilo may retrieve crates from the road at grid 40-77. Maj. Fawkes, Charlie 1-1 has been supplied with Pontoon Bridging Equipment; however, this is only freely available for this operation. If the force needs to make a crossing then make use of it.
Weekly Report
Kilo Company and Charlie 1-2 will be returned to their respective COs to command, they're expected to report in their current position before moving out to continue their recon this week.
All other assets are to finish sorting out they're equipment and start discussing their deployment strategies.
Kilo Company and Charlie 1-2 will check in by Friday, June 21, 2024 8:00 PM[1]. After that we'll begin deciding deployments of a full force.
Final Notes
Below will be 2 images for you to use. One indicates an Order of Battle listing all units currently set for deployment, the other the battle map with deployment positions and all objectives. Personal maps will be ready to be handed out before the major deployment begins, we just need to get enough copies made up.
