EnduraBot
EnduraBot is a general purpose Discord bot for the Endurance Coalition Discord server. As a general purpose bot, it serves a variety of functions, it's aim being to provide entertainment and solutions to things which automation would make easier. It is written in Discord.py, a Python library for Discord bot development, and is open source on GitHub under an MIT license.
History
EnduraBot was created by Sirdog with it's 1.0 release being October 10th, 2025. It came about as a desire from Sirdog to work on another technical project, having missed the fun of working on EnduraNet prior to it's suspension in August of the same year. When inquired after Fleff not only did not care if a bot was written, but he actively encouraged Sirdog to do so. The primary feature that spurred development was a /bibleq command — later rebranded as /rquote — which pulls a random message from the server's #out-of-context channel and presents it in a fictional context. Other commands would soon follow, such as /echo to allow moderators to speak as the bot, /ips to get an easy list of EDC server IP addresses and ports, and so on.
A full list of features is available on the bot's documentation.
Logo
Like EnduraNet, a logo specific to the bot was created to differentiate it from the community's own logo. Inspired by the official community logo, the notable differences are the brighter shade of blue for the background color and a robot-like icon replacing the NATO star. The logo was created in GIMP, and the robot icon is an image within the public domain images on Wikimedia Commons.
