| Important File Uploading Guidelines
Please select a license while uploading your file. You have 4 options.
- The file is your sole creation and you irrevocably release it under CC-BY-SA 4.0, making it available for anyone in the whole wide world to use forever so long as they give you credit and release any remixs under the same license; or
- The file is your sole creation and you desire to retain full copyright ownership, but you give this wiki the permanent and irrevocable license to retain and display it; or
- The file is NOT your sole creation, and it's fully copyrighted, in which case this wiki will attempt to argue a fair use rationale to retain and display the file.
- The file is NOT your sole creation, but the file has a Creative Commons license of some variety.
Uploading work that isn't yours (or screenshots of said work) that is also paywalled (such as only being available on Patreon) is not allowed.
If you don't know if a work you didn't make is copyrighted or not you default to option 3.
When uploading work that isn't yours, you must include in the Summary: box where you got it from. A URL is sufficient for this purpose. This is infinitely more important when using the 4th option above. It is not acceptable to do this on the page you plan to use the file; it must be done here.
Files which are not in alignment with the above guidelines may be deleted by any administrator to protect the wiki from legal action. Continual failure to follow the guidelines may result in revocation of editing privileges. |
