Land navigation

Land navigation is a certification that teaches how to navigate by land without access to a GPS. This will include reading the map, use of map tools, orientation of one's self using landmarks, and sustained travel.
To pass certification, the member will be placed somewhere at random and be given — on the map — where they must go. The member must reach the location without assistance (if time permitting) or the certifying member must be sufficiently convinced, given additional time, the member would reach the intended destination.
